Who can apply

Eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Degree must have been completed on or after 1 January 2022
Nationality: Indian citizen as per the Apprentices Act 1961
Local Language: Proficiency in the local/regional language of the applied state. Class 10/12 mark sheet showing local language studied may exempt you from the language test
Prior Apprenticeship: Must not have previously undergone or currently be pursuing an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act
Work Experience: Candidates with 1 year or more of job/training experience after graduation are not eligible
Final Year Students: Not eligible — must already hold the graduation degree / provisional certificate at time of application

Selection process

Online examination
100 objective questions across 5 subjects. 60 minutes. No negative marking. Tentatively first week of July 2026.

Local language test
Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the official language of the applied state. May be waived if Class 10/12 certificate shows the language was studied.

Document verification
Original certificates verified in person — educational qualifications, age, category certificates, and identity proof.

Medical fitness verification
Final engagement is subject to medical fitness as per Bank's requirements.

Apprenticeship begins
12-month on-the-job training at your assigned CBI branch with ₹15,000 monthly stipend from day one. Digital apprenticeship contract executed before joining.
